Happy New Year!
I hope you had a??wonderful Christmas and New Year break.
I had a lovely time??relaxing??in a beautiful beach house in Ocean Grove .
However now I’m busy taking bookings??for all our classes in term 1.
We have some fantastic classes this term including??general sewing classes, Zero To Sewing beginner clinic’s, a quilting course, Kids Club and Millinery too!

Zero To Sewing Beginner Clinic

“Zero To Sewing in a Weekend” Perfect for complete beginners or those wanting to update their sewing skills! o Learn how to sew & develop essential sewing skills o Basic sewing & seam finishing, buttons & buttonholes o Technical skills using a sewing machine & overlocker o Introduction to patterns including how to measure to fit your size o How to read pattern cutting layouts & garment construction o Understanding fabric selection & fabric types o Make your very own beginner sewing PJ project ! Sewing machines, basic sewing kit, morning and afternoon tea provided in class. Held over x2 consecutive Saturdays 7th & 14th February 2015 & 7th & 14th March 2015 9am until 5pm, maximum 8 students with 2 teachers. A fantastic class to make your first quilt!??You will learn: o The simple 9 patch piecing process o Machine & hand applique & curves o How to use rulers & cutters o How to cut fabric for quilting o How to piece your fabrics together o How to piece blocks together to form block design o Sashing, corner stones & how to assemble your quilt o How to apply a binding to finish your quilt Our quilting class is perfect for you if you have basic sewing skills & you would love to try something new by making your first quilt! Our Millinery classes??are great for total beginners or intermediate milliners.
Develop your creative and artistic skills!
Create a head piece or hat??to match your favourite outfit or to wear to the races!
Taught by Susan Younis??who has outstanding traditional model millinery skills and has been taught by some of Melbourne’s most qualified milliners and visiting milliners from England, America and Europe!
