Simplicity Pattern 1420

I made a beautiful dress for my daughter Jacqueline from

Simplicity Pattern 1420

for her to wear to her friends wedding in Sorrento over the weekend.

I made it from a stretch cotton sateen fabric that I bought while shopping at Spotlight.

I’ve been wanting to make a dress from this pattern for ages and I’m extremely happy with the result!

We have launched our first ‘Kids School Holiday Program’ for this Easter break on:

School Holiday Program Kids Sewing Club

  • * Kids 8-12 years
  • * Introduction to sewing!
  • * Make fun sewing projects
  • * Meet new friends
  • * Morning and afternoon sessions available!
  • * Classes are 2.5hrs or book the whole day

Kwik Sew Pattern K3604

Today’s sewing inspiration is from finding a gorgeous fox printed fabric while shopping at Spotlight. I thought it would be just perfect for a new set of PJ’s each for my granddaughter Poppy and grandson Felix.

I made the PJ bottoms from Kwik Sew Pattern K3604, purchased a t-shirt and embellished it to match!

I find this a really quick and easy way to make a new set of PJ’s for the kids!
